Cultural House Tempo's very own event series, Tempo a Live, presents two amazing artists on Saturday, April 19, 2025: Pesso and Viitasen Piia (solo). PESSO The Emma Award-winning rap artist, known for his sold-out shows, composes, writes, produces, and arranges all his music himself. With previous albums Kunnes mä tapasin sut (2018), Miks sä et oo niinku kaikki muut? (2020), and 33 (2022), Pesso has firmly established himself as one of the most exciting artists and live performers of the moment. His music delves deep into emotions and sensitive themes, often drawn from his own experiences and those of people close to him. Pesso's sound is more melodic compared to traditional rap music. VIITASEN PIIA Viitasen Piia is a darkly poetic indie-folk band led by singer-songwriter Piia Viitanen. With four critically acclaimed albums under their belt, they have charmed both critics and live audiences alike, carving out a spot for Viitanen among Finland’s leading storytellers. Rooted in acoustic folk and Americana, their music has evolved over the years to include new shades and textures.
